On April 26, 2003, The Lift gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:

Hi, my name is Chris Rash; I play bass in a Los Angeles-based band called the
Lift. We've been playing shows all around L.A. and Hollywood, including shows
at the legendary Whisky A Go-Go. We are defintely a fun rock and roll band
with great song-writing and grooves that have been known to make the angryest
punk-rocker bounce along to the music. Even though some clubs have been
strrict about us even taping ourselves, our archive of our shows is small, but
it's certainly increasing. We strongly encourage people to tape our shows
where possible, and we want those tapes to circulate. I'll make it a point to
upload shows whenever we get them converted to SHN. As soon as a get the green
light, I'll start uploading a couple shows. Thank you
